Shaun Smith Scam
This is clear fraud. The 700inaday seller Shaun Smith has no shame so he's just like most other get rich quick
scammers. He's one of the worst.
The 700inaday.com website tells you exactly what you want to hear and never lets the truth get
in the way. Shaun Smith claims that he's selling a simple system that can earn up to £700 a day and that you will
be earning £700 a day within just days of buying the system.
Here's a quote from the website:
You'll be earning up to £700+ a day
in just DAYS!
Here's why this is a scam.
The course is aimed towards making money from Google Adsense. You set up a free blog at places such as Wordpress
or Blogger and then place Google Adsense on them in the hope that people will click on your adds and you will make
a few pennies for each click.
The idea is that you will get free traffic to your blog by ranking well in search engines.
To make money with Google Adsense you need a lot of traffic to your sites and this takes time. Also most markets
don't have enough search traffic to generate a lot of money so you will need multiple sites all with a lot of
traffic.
This process takes years, forget earning £700 a day within days of buying the system, that's a complete lie.
Shaun's keyword research videos are the worst instructional videos I've ever seen and they clearly demonstrate
that Shaun either has no idea what he's talking about or he's just telling blatant lies.
In the keyword research video Shaun searches for a very uncompetitive search term "shaun smith online marketer"
which his blog ranks number 1 and 2 for.
He then boasts about this to his audience but it's nothing to get excited about. Google is more
than smart enough to realize that anyone searching for a specific term like that is looking for that particular
person.
But Shaun bragging about being number 1 and 2 is nothing to worry about, it's what he says next that's
scary.
When Shaun recorded the video there was around 2.3 million results in Google's index for the search term "shaun
smith online marketer" but Shaun Smith claims that's the amount of people searching for that term.
He then says that if you can get a few of those 2 million people to click on your ads you will make money.
I've never heard such nonsense, a quick check of the Google Adwords Keyword Tool shows that the actual number of people searching that term is
less than 30 a month.
I can tell you for sure that if you're getting traffic numbers as small as that you will be very lucky to make
$1 a month, forget the £700 in a day.
I think it's time I gave you a reality check of what it takes to make money on Adsense. £700 is around $1000
so £700 in a day is the same thing as $1000 in a day.
With Adsense you get paid for every click and the payout is usually low, for an example let's say you can
expect around $0.10 per click.
To reach the $1000 a day that Shaun Smith is claiming you would need 1000 clicks on your ads every single day at
an average of $0.10 a click.
That means you will need at least 1000 visitors to your site every single day. But of course not ever person
that visits the site will click on your ads, you will be lucky if 10% of them do.
So if 10% of your visitors click on your ads you will need 10,000 visits every single day. Of course you could
have 10 sites each with 1000 visits a day but this would take years and a lot of money.
Plus there aren't many markets that will give you over 1000 visits a day and the ones that do are super
competitive and you will be against large websites that have been around for years.
There are markets where your Adsense ads will pay a lot more than $0.10 a click such as forex, gambling and
loans but these are so competitive that there's no way a complete newbie will make it without spending a lot of
time and money to begin with, no way.
Also if you take a look round the warrior forum you will see many reports of Google disabling people's Adsense account's
because the sites were of a low quality and were set up with a sole purpose of making money from Google Adsense
without providing any value added content to the web.
I fully agree with Google taking this stance. I'm a paying member of Google Adwords for many of my sites and my
advertisements are placed on other people's sites.
I don't want my adds appearing on low quality websites with untargeted traffic clicking on my ads every now and
then costing me money. Most advertisers share my opinions and this is why Google don't like low quality Adsense
sites.
So 700inaday is rubbish but the way that Shaun Smith advertises it makes it fraudulent as far as I'm
concerned.
He advertises one of his many sites such as 4inonesystem.com or
shaunsmithsystem.com and when you land on them he asks for your email address so that he can send
you more information.
Once you've surrendered your email address Shaun Smith will then send you "proof of earnings." He will send you
this 2 or 3 times a week and then he will send you a summary at the end of the month.
After showing you the earnings he will say something like, "I can show you how to do this and I have simple
system with no advertising costs and there's a link to it below the video."
And then you will find a link to 700inaday.com. The problem with these earnings is that they are what Shaun
makes SELLING his 700inaday system, not using it.
Shaun never shows any earnings from Google and that's because he doesn't use it, he's just making money selling
it.
Most newbie's won't realize that Shaun is just showing 700inaday sales figures and they will be impressed with
what they see so they go ahead and buy it.
Once they've bought it they become part of the proof of earnings and the sales push the following week, it's a
never ending loop.
Shaun Smith knows full well that he's duping people with these earnings. On a side note Shaun never ever shows
his advertising costs which I can assure you are expensive, his actual profit will be much less than his "proof"
videos.
Conclusion: 700inaday.com is a scam, avoid at all costs. Over the years I've seen countless make money online
scams but this is one of the worst. The sole purpose of it is to part the newbie from their cash.
Anyone with experience can see right away that this is a scam but to people with no experience it's easy to be
fooled.
What's my advice? Taking a look around this site alone will teach you more than 700inaday but if you're serious
about making money on the Internet you should check out George Brown's Google Sniper which is widely regarded as one of the best make money online
programs.
George shows proof of his earnings but it's what he makes using what he teaches you, not the money he makes
selling it. George has made over one million dollars selling Google Sniper but he never mentions this, he just
shows what he genuinely makes from the techniques he teaches.
