Make Money With Google Adsense
Google Adsense is when you place Google advertisements on your site and as soon as someone clicks on them you
make a small commission. Nobody knows for sure how much but it is estimated at around 50%.
So for example if someone had an advertisement with Google that they were paying $1 a click for, if this add was
placed on your site and someone clicked on it you would receive around $0.50
There is a lot of money to be made from Google Adsense but in my opinion it's only for webmaster's with at least
an intermediate level of experience for multiple reasons.
The main reason for this is because you need a site that is getting a lot of visitors (500+ a day) to make
money and the chances of doing this with little experience are very small and the chances are you will give up
before you make it.
Not only do you need a lot of visitors they also need to be targeted visitors. If your site is about fish you
need visitors that are interested in fish rather than people interested in online poker.
Achieving such a site takes a long time and hard work. Then there's the problem that most niche markets don't
generate enough traffic to make a lot of money.
This means that a lot of webmaster's create small websites with only five or so pages and the sole aim of
them is to make a dollar or so a day from Google Adsense.
They hope to churn out a site every couple of days and then within a year or so be making hundreds of dollars a
day. This may seem like a good idea on the surface but it's very flawed.
Google HATES small websites that are set with the sole purpose to make money from Adsense that offer
no value to the Internet.
When they find people that are doing this they simply close their account and when this happens it's impossible
to get a new one.
Just imagine if you spend a year or maybe more building an Adsense business up to $100 a day and then over night
Google closes your account, this would mess up your business.
Just for the record I completely agree with Google's policy, why should people get away with making useless
websites, all it does is cost advertisers money when untargeted visitors click on the adds.
This is why Google is such a fantastic company, they put customers first and in the case of Adsense the
customers are the people paying for the adds.
It still seems that a lot of people with little or no experience are trying to make a living on the Internet
through building small sites with Google Adsense on them.
If you take a moment to look around the warrior forum which is the largest Internet marketing forum you will see countless posts
from people who after 6 months are only making around $3 a day from Adsense with around 20 websites and that's
because the sites are basically rubbish and offer no value to the Internet.
To sum up, if you own a useful site that's getting good traffic, by all means place Google Adsense on your site,
it will be a great source of extra revenue.
I wouldn't advice you to set up small sites with a sole aim of making money from Google Adsense because it will
be very difficult to build a long term successful business from it.
