This is something that I did when I was starting out. I doubt that you could ever make a full time living from this and if it is possible it would take long hours and commitment.

When I was involved in freelance writing I only ever made pocket money with it.

Freelance writing is basically when you write articles for other people and get paid in return, although the money is generally low. It takes a lot of time because the more you write the more you earn.

What I will say however is that my time spent writing articles for others was my first taste of making money on the Internet and it did give me experience from which to build upon.

At this point you may be wondering why people want articles and why they would pay for them. The simple answer is so that they Can market their business with the articles you write.

Once you've written an article the person that's paying you will then be publish it on someone else's site. This then advertises the website that the article is about and 99% of the time a link will also be given to the website that the article is marketing.

Article writing is a huge part of making money on the Internet for the majority of people. The more websites someone has the more articles they need and that's why they pay to outsource it to freelancers.

Where can you find such work?

A great place to go is to the warrior forum, they have a thread specifically for outsourcing. People will leave threads asking for people to write articles for them and then from there you can offer them your services.

Alternatively you can leave a thread offering to do work for people.

Freelance writing is great for extra money but it's also hard work and by no means the most profitable way to make money online so I've now put it behind me as I work on bigger things.

Despite this I know that the warrior forum (as well as other forums) are full of people looking to outsource works such as article writing and it can be used as your first step in making money online.
